How to Submit a Claim

We understand the urgency of burial claims. Our process is designed to be as simple and fast as possible.

Notify Us Immediately

Contact our 24/7 claims support line or visit any branch to notify us of the death. You can also start the process online via the Client Portal.

Gather Required Documents

To process your claim, we will need the following:

  • Certified copy of the Deceased's ID
  • Certified copy of the Claimant's ID
  • Official Death Certificate (BI-5 or BI-20)
  • Proof of Bank Account for payout
  • Completed Claim Form

Submit Your Claim

Upload your documents through the portal, email them to claims@ngqongqoshefunerals.online, or hand them in at a branch. Your dedicated consultant will guide you.

Claim Review & Payout

Although the claim validation process typically takes only **24 to 48 hours**, please note that **cash payouts are only processed every Thursday** of the week during which the burial is scheduled. This ensures all arrangements are synchronized with the funeral date.

There is a standard 6-month waiting period for natural death. Accidental death is covered immediately after your first premium payment. Death by suicide has a 12-month waiting period.
